First time post! Huge thanks to everyone and everything GOG.

I feel like I've hit an in-game bug and other than starting again (no saves early enough!) I'm hoping if anyone else has resolved this. I will try for no major spoilers.

Playing Mega-Monkey, In Part IV on Blood Island, a bartender serves you many grogs. However after about five of them, that option disappears from conversation choices. I have now realised (looking up hints after many attempts at progressing) it's part of a puzzle and despite having everything I need to solve that puzzle, now I cannot complete it without being able to order a grog.

Is there a bug fix available or anyone else worked out a solution? Or maybe I'm just missing something!

Any help greatly appreciated.

I can't remember with certainty, and I won't replay up to that point to make sure it could happen of course (too long into the game), but: are you sure you don't have the grog in your inventory?

PROBABLE SPOILERS - BUT I'M TRYING TO AVOID
Thanks for your response - I restarted the game and have worked out what to do. I think it's a mistake in the game; it seems the number of times goodsoup gives you grog is limited to the same number as another puzzle related element that is working as designed. So I did the wrong thing, but I didn't think this game stopped you being able to progress, hence why I think it's a mistake.

But thanks anyway - and the grog sits on the bar rather than into inventory; you apply another item from your inventory to it to progress. Repeatedly.

Thanks again :)

Yeah, I remember what you have to do with it, but did not remember if it stayed at the bar or you picked it up.
