I'm trying to install Monkey Island 2: Lechuck's Revenge but after the download is completed, tha installation process fails with a "Configuration Error" and code 32971092.

Any idea of what's happening?

Are you using Galaxy to install the game? There are a few possible solutions and [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/darkwood/installation_error_configuration_error]here.

Alternatively, you can download the "offline backup installer" directly and try to install, without Galaxy, to see if it's a problem of the client, the installer or your PC.

Yes, I'm using GOG Galaxy. Tried the "Verify/Repair" option with no luck.With the offline installer works.

Problem with the online installer seems to persist. But the offline installer did the trick for me as well. Thanks for the hint!

I had the same problem. Importing folder after downloading files did the trick.

Seems this problem is heading for a two-year anniversary. Same error, same number.

Yup, I've got the exact same issue.

EDIT: Apparently you can clean up your (failed) download/install then click on the plus sign on _Owned games_, then "Scan folders for GOG games". This found MI2 and updated it too.

Also the same problem.
Fixed by downloading the offline installer

This worked for me. Navigate to GOG Galaxy\Games and select the MI2 folder to scan. Thanks

Where do you get the offline installer? Monkey Island 2 isn't installing via GOG Galaxy. It fails at 92%.

Go to your account: https://www.gog.com/account

Click on the game.

Choose operative system and language. Ignore the big blue button and click on DOWNLOAD OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALLERS (if it's not already displayed). The link to the installer is there.

Now go and find that legendary treasure.
