When I am speaking to Brett in Caroline's house I see myself, Brett and David standing against a black room. If I move behind an object my legs vanish behind it as I would expect.

I am playing on a mac OSX10.9 and have included a screenshot of the offending room.

Has anyone else come across this and any suggestions as to what might be wrong.

Developers are aware of that bug. They planned to release a fix yesterday. Downloading and installing it when you see Update notice in your GOG account should help you.
