There's a new patch in the Steam version (crash fix, Unity 4, etc), when the Gog version?

I purchased Moebius yesterday during the summer sale, and while the game runs and looks competent enough, I too would like to know whether we've received the latest patch by now (or will get it soon).
I couldn't possibly fathom what exactly would cause such a delay when Steam users got the latest update months ago. Then again, I'm not a developer, and I guess the GOG version might run on a slightly different code?

Has anyone tried asking the developers (that would be Phoenis Online Studios, right?) if they simply forgot about updating the GOG version?
I haven't, because I'm still waiting for the Linux version, so I'd feel silly about starting my question with "I've heard there is this more recent version that I'm also not able to run, but..." :-)
