In it the developers state Steam and GOG are getting the update

GOG users will get the update, just keep an eye out for the update notice on your account to be able to download it. I can't say for sure exactly when that will happen as I could with Steam, as we don't directly control the updates on GOG in the same way we do Steam. Hopefully in the next day or two.
