Due to the ever-popular legal and licensing reasons, we have removed the game from sale. Everyone who already bought it should still have it on their shelves, and we will of course try to get the game re-licensed here once the legal situation has cleared up.
So what exactly is the legal problem that caused the game to be removed from the site and do you have an estimate for when it will be back up?
Would be interesting to hear a bit more about this, yes, Rage's other titles are still available here after all.
Any news?
So what's the update on getting this game back on the site? Games removed from GOG for long periods always make me feel like a friend's been gone away for a long time.

This game looked pretty cool. Is there any chance GOG might get it back?
Hope this game comes back some day :(

Granted! =P
What was the "legal problem"? I don't understand those new licensing problems at all! There is no transparency, why a game has to be removed and what problems are behind the licensing process. It would be really nice to know the arguments, why a DRM free released game have to be removed from GOG.

Same crap about Fallout. There, I only know that the new owner Interplay (?) is not interested in releasing DRM free games...

You won't get a response from GOG, they never give out this information. It's understandable really, they don't want to burn any bridges. Today they may not be able to reach an agreement with a dev/publisher, but who knows tomorrow? Giving out that kind of information could be damaging to a future deal, so they just give out generic justifications.

No. Interplay even gave away the Fallout games for free for the last few weeks(?) before the rights transferred to Bethesda.
nvm
