There are reviews and videos of people playing Mirror's Edge with the Steam Controller all over the internet. I tried this with the GOG version but I couldn't get the game to even recognize the controller, starting the game from within Steam's Big Picture Mode was no help either.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately you would probably have to buy the game from Steam, if you want to use the Steam Controller.

Exit steam and them start it as administrator, and there you go:)

Steam by default run as normal user privilege only while Mirror's Edge run as administrator, so the Steam thing don't work on Mirror's Edge.

Don't keep steam in admin privilege. Just do so while playing this game.
