I am calling all fans of the Might and Magic series. Their is a section on GOG to vote for games you would like to see on GOG. I am asking everyone who wants to see Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor, and Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer to vote to bring these games here with a quickness. I love these games and would like to see them here on GOG so please Vote or give some feed back.

yah id like to see the rest of the M&M series on here.
I just started a LP session of MM8 on YouTube, and I'll have an update some time this weekend. As far as GoG having MM7 or MM8 in the catalog, maybe there will be a separate edition like 3DO's Millenium Edition.
I think we need MM7/8/9. Yes I know not many people like MM9, but you gotta at least admit, the dungeon crawling in MM9 was awesome and better than any other MM. If you got halfway through the game, it also got ALOT better.
Overall, it was a decent game, though all other aspects outside of dungeon crawling were worse than any other MM game.
Getting back on topic, another collection of MM7-9 would be awesome if GoG could pull it off. I'd definitely vote for that over any other game right now.
Good idea to muster players this way, but a minor suggestion: let's all vote for the games called "Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor" and "Might and Magic VIII: Day of the Destroyer", so that if other instances of the title happen to pop up (there's only one "misleading" title as of now if I'm not mistaken, which is "Might and Magic VII-IX (7-9)", but there may be more in the future), we ignore that and boost the ones with a large number of votes with ours.
I am all for getting the other MM games, however there are already several existing threads about this request.
I actually like MM7 a good bit better than MM6 - the content was perhaps of lesser quality, but the game balance was more refined and the monster population was thinned to a somewhat less tedious level, so I had a lot more fun playing it.
MM8 is in my collection, but I haven't yet loaded it up.

Id actually like to play IX. It looks pretty good.

MM7's dungeons are totally inferior to MM6's though, and MM6's music is better.
MM7 is still good though, completed it many times.
But MM7 lacks an atsmospheric final dungeon with final antagonist. At least MM8 had that

That's OK, but then vote for that game, not a collection.

IX was released uncompleted, admitted by the developers. "It was pre-alpha at best."
So if completed it would probably have been rather good.
Although, I'm a completionist, so I'll probably buy it and finish it if gog does release it.

Wasn't it released in that time as was HoMaM4?
If yes, then it would explain the earlier release (3DO going down).

It was the only title in the Might and Magic series that 3DO gave the New World Computing team a deadline for completion, so they had to rush it out, they did manage to release one patch for it before 3DO went under though. It was also the first Might and Magic game that JVC didn't work on.(I'm not sure if he worked on HoMMIV, but that was received a bit better, although people didn't like some of the new mechanics in it)
Thanks for the info.

IIRC he worked on HoMM4. I remember from one our gaming magazine which had a special issue about HoMM in general (when HoMM5 was coming out) and there was something about JVC's plans for HoMM5, like turning away from the RPG-isation as in HoMM4, re-working the AI or removing the underground. Even some artworks for HoMM5 exist (some of them are somewhere on CH forums).
