In order to get the vampire promotion you have to retrieve Korbu's remains and sarcophagus which I have yet to do. But I just picked up a quest asking for the Vial of Grave Earth to prevent Korbu's resurrection also. Can I do both and still get the promotion or does turning in the dirt affect it?

I'm 95% that you can complete both quests without any consequences. Just to be on the safe side complete the promotion quest first since the second one is purely optional (you will only get some gold and XP)
