A spider asks you what Mark lost. I know the answer is keys, but only because I read it in a walkthrough. What's the non-cheating way of finding this info?

If you meet Mark first, he'll mention his keys. And if you then meet the spider later, you'll hopefully remember what Mark said.

P.S. You can do that quest over and over and over, gaining massive XP for a low-level party.
