Quick Question. I note the additional MP3 files for M&M. Is there a way for the game(s) to play these files ingame or is the idea one plays these in a media player running in background?

EDIT 2: Ok, the problem with the screwy format seems to have gone away.
The soundtracks are meant to be played like any other audio file. Personnaly i like listening to games soundtracks while i surf the web ;)

If you mean the MM6 music, then yes.
Go to the MM6 directory (most likely Program Files/GOG.com/Might & Magic VI Limited Edition/Might and Magic 6 - The Mandate of Heaven), create a directory called "Music", and move the MP3 files from the Sounds directory into the Music directory. I don't know why this wasn't done by default, but it's a necessary step to getting music in MM6.
Then edit the file MM6.ini, and set PlayMP3=1
The MM6 sound track that you can download is the same music as what's in the Sounds directory.
