Hello all- I know in MM2 the only save points are at Inns- no biggie. My question is, is there only one save point each time, or is there a way to revert to previous saves? Any tricks to this?
Loving the game though-
Thanks!

There is not a way to create multiple saves within the game. I backed up the save files each day I played. I don't remember the file names because I've moved on to MM3 after beating MM2. The way I figured out what to back up was to just sort the folder by last modified date. The files should jump out at you. I did this for MM3 as well.
By the way, it may be of interest to note that I never once have gone back to use one of my backed up save files from either MM2 or MM3. Made me feel more secure though. :-)
in order to avoid save regret as I have had a couple of times in MM2, always check up on your stats, money and gems before you save. Leprechauns are notorious for destroying your money and gems. There are other places in the game where you can lose large amounts of money and there is even one event where all you characters' stats can be lowered to 5. I won't say where so as to not to spoil anything. Just make sure you check up on your items, stats money etc. to make sure you won't regret the save you are about to do.

There is only one save file. The characters and the game progress are saved to the ROSTER.DAT file, so just make a habit of copying it to a different place from time to time, just in case you have a disaster and have to go back to a previous point in the game.
On the other hand, if you want to start a brand new game from the beginning, just delete ROSTER.DAT and the game will generate a new one, but you'll have to create new characters.
