Sorry if this has been asked before. I heard that the original versions of the 4th and 5th game had bonus material that was unlocked by installing both on the same PC. So then, does downloading both from GOG unlock them now?

Thanks in advance.
The GOG version automatically includes both games together, along with the bonus content.

In fact, with the GOG version, you *can't* install them separately; you either install the entirety of World of Xeen, or you don't install it at all.

Note that there's separate floppy and CD versions; the two play the same, but there are some differences, notably voice acting in the CD version. The CD version requires you to switch disks (or, in the GOG release, press a key combination that the game tells you to press), while the floppy version has copy protection questions (only 3 times per playthrough, but I seem to remember the PDF with the answers being in the Isles of Terra folder).

There are two things you should know before you start playing Xeen:
* The pyramids in Clouds will take you to the Darkside. As the Darkside is a much higher level game, if you go there early, you will get a lot of XP quickly, and said XP may make Clouds too easy, so it's generally recommended that you wait until after you defeat Lord Xeen before using one of the pyramids.
* Swords of Xeen is an entirely separate game. It's actually a fan mod that became an official release, and it suffers from poor balance and scripting bugs, so I do not recommend playing it before playing World of Xeen. (When you do, play it on Adventurer mode; Warrior is fine for World of Xeen, but not Swords.)
Lol, thank you. Yeah, the reason I posted was because I figured the transition (without floppies) made it different.
