I was trying so hard to not use a walkthrough for this game. I was doing well then I encountered a situation in the wasp's nest where I couldn't get into the upper room. There is a gap in the ceiling which I was trying to jump through when I came to the conclusion that there had to be another way due to the fact that my many dozen's of attempts failed. so I broke down and looked up on a walkthrough what to do. It turned out that I was correct to begin with and you must jump through the gap (if the info I read was accurate).

So, I was wondering if anyone in this forum knew of a trick or a special way to accomplish this. I still can't get into that upper room. Thanks.

I was unable to do this as well. I put it down to a bug and went on. Turns out there's nothing you need in there to complete any quests, just more wasp jelly to sell.

Yeah, I did the same thing. Oh well no big thing. At least my record of mot using a walkthrough is still clear, so far ;).

Did you use the jump spell, or did you just press [x]?

Shloulet: Did you use the jump spell, or did you just press [x]?
I used the jump spell. It always left me just shy of the height I needed to clear the next level.

Yes, I used the jump spell as well and it didn't quite get me there. I'm sure it was just my timing, but I tried dozens of times.

The Wasp Nest is a broken dungeon on newer computers. Jump won't let you get to the upper levels. The Grey Face patch does fix it, although you can ignore the other chambers if you want.
