Hey everyone! I have a quick question - each time I try to play Might and Magic III (NOT Heroes of Might and Magic III), the game starts with pre-made characters. How do I play the game with characters I make myself?

visit the Inn it should be right behind where you start
you may want to save the gear the starters have since iirc new created chars start with nothing

Why can't I create a ranger straight off the bat though?

I recommend reading the manual that comes with the game, it has all the basic stat requirements for all the classes.

Figured it out, I had to click on 'Roll' until I could select Ranger.

Thanks for the tip though, reading the manual's serious business. I just love how extenssive and deep old games manuals are, namely those of RPGs.
