Every other game in the pack works just fine but when I try to load MMVI I get a grey screen and an error that only says "DDraw setdisplaymode () failed" I've googled the error message but with no luck so I turn to you knowledgeable people to try and figure out why my game won't load. I just want to play :(
For reference, I'm on WinXP on an Administrator account and running the game in compatability mode.

maybe you could try the unofficial patch suggested in the support section.

Strangely enough, I tried that and nothing worked. Then I reset my computer for unrelated reasons and it started working again. I think the engine just threw some kind of hissy fit or something. Thanks anyway!

Yeah, sometimes a reboot solves all kinds of problems.
