there's an unofficial patch to Might & Magic IX. It repairs some issues in the game, for me it fixed up some graphical issues I had on character creation and inventory screens.

You might also be interested to know, that you can manually change game resolution by playing with autoexec.cfg file located in MMIX install folder.

There's two variables:
"ScreenWidth" "800"
"ScreenHeight" "600"

In order to change resolution change the numerical values accordingly, in example:
"ScreenWidth" "1920"
"ScreenHeight" "1080"

This does, sadly, mess up the game UI, as it wasn't meant to be ran in higher resolutions.

Main menu says it's already patched 1.3 (maybe 1.3a?)

Main menu should also have text TELP in it if the patch is on.
