Hello there,

the only MM I ever played is 9 and it was in my childhood. Thats why I bought it here on gog :).

Problem is that there is large delay (10-30s) between pushing inventory button and inventory actualy showing.
During this delay, I can hear music, but Im unable to move or do anything else. This does not affect inventory only but pretty much everything. Rest button, Esc button, Journal button...

Curiously, the moment I close inventory (or journal or whatever) and immediately open it again, it works normaly.
But when I open inventory, close it, run around for 2 min, and then try to open it again, the delay is back.

Other than that game works fine. I have Win 8.1.
The only thing that I found on google, was a thread from 2008 where people had same problem. There was a guy who uploaded a file which should fix the problem, however the file is no longer aviable to download.

Suggestions?

I just found the file by browsing to the end of that looong thread.

For anyone who will have the same problem: go to the "telp tavern mm9" forums, and search for fix "long waiting times for inventory/map/menu". The file will be there just like what to do with it :).
