A couple of problems that's stopping me advancing

Taking the verified Axe to the Minator Kings son, but he is always sleeping on the throne

When I enter the Necromancers guild to destroy the skeleton converter, I can never find it, I have the imprisoned Cleric with me, but there is never a sign of it.

Likewise the alternate quest, I can never find the secret chamber in the Temple of the Sun

I have a dragon with grand master perception an even that is not helping

Oh an if anyone has the recipe for fire resistance potion I could stop those poor trolls burning up (:

The axe doesn't go to Masul (the herd leader), it goes to the minotaur that gave you the quest

As far as the Council quest, make sure the quest(s) are actually on the list (as in, make sure you've spoken to Sandro/Oskar Tyre) and you have Dyson Leyland in your party.
To get to the skeleton transformer, enter the Necromancer's Guild, walk up the stairs directly in front of you, and open the door (carefully, this is the point at which the necromancers will attack!). Enter the area, then look right- there should be an elevator. Head down on the elevator, and follow the hallway. You should enter a room with a bunch of levers and a few buttons, and the skeleton transformer in the next room- solve the puzzle, and start walking towards the room with the skeletons. A cut scene should start, and then the quest is complete!

Fire resistance- Haste (red+orange layered) + Harden Item (green + yellow layered). Need at least Master Alchemy.
