Pyromaniacv2: That seems to be the only possible solution right now, just not alt-tabbing. This is unfortunate, as I do a lot of note taking and such in Might and Magic, I try not to look things up online and keep track of most information myself. Admittedly, 7 does have a few more quality of life features (Like noting where master trainers are if you ask), but there's still a lot to write down and record for convenience. Having to quit each and every time I find a bit of information that may or may not be useful is going to be a bit tedious.
Oh well. I absolutely adored my time with 6, hopefully I can get past this and a few other minor issues to enjoy 7 just as much. Perhaps I may find another solution that works for me. We'll see!

Get a pencil/pen and a notebook! I still have one of my old SNES notebooks stuck in a corner somewhere, full of codes, hints, solutions, etc for different games. :D
That said, I do understand the draw of taking the notes on your computer with notepad (or whatever). I did that pretty extensively while playing Baldur's Gate.
