I recently acquired a new laptop and therefore had to reinstall MM7.

The good part is that the save games survived.

The bad part is that now when I want to travel in the game (Town Portal spell or even moving the game into a new area) that the game crashes me to desktop.

I tried re-installing, repairing, even travelling to the area and avoid the Town Portal spell. Nothing works.

I use the Grayface patch 2.5.7, but with or without the patch the game crashed at the same moment.
