Game started fine, intro played and just as main menu comes up for a second the screen "greyes out" and you can still move cursor, no crash or anything.

Google brought me to a different forum where a user found the solution. Seems Shadowplay does not work with the game and causes the issue. Disabling shadowplay took care of the issue. Thought I would share here in case others run into the same issue.
