Hi

I got the original MM6 in the big box case but I can't get sound, doesn't matter if I'm using v1. 00 or the latest in official patch.

Then I thought I try out gog version and bought it today, but on gog version there is no sound at all too. I only get sound when I tab out of the game, when I return to the game the sound isn't there anymore :( I'm running it on win 10 pro x64

Hello,
I am running windows 64 pro as well and I have it from the box as well as from gog.com. I just played a little bit and the sound works fine for me. It is not the game, it is the setup on your computer. Try playing around with the sound setting.

No idea if this will work but simple to try.

Control Panel to uninstall games.
Under uninstall games there should be a sub category "Turn Windows Features on and off"
In this area, there are folders--- one of which should say "legacy"
Open it and click DirectX.

Again, don't know if it will work or if you tried it already. But if not, might be worth a try.
