Level 1 party? More like a level 61 that hasn't bothered to take its level-ups.

If you mean that there are no cheats, as in bring up a console and typing in a code to get something like statistical boni or 'God Mode' or some such then you are correct. But we both know that such do not exist and your reply here is irrelevant for the most part. The guy in the video is clearly cheating as evidenced by the very game he is playing! standard M&M 6 does not contain the UI he is using and it is literally quite impossible to obtain the items he has in his inventory.

I am the guy who was playing & I was not cheating... Also I am proud to say that I got the World Record Score of MM6...
About getting the best items what you wanted is so simple;
Do it that way : Once you kill Supreme Titan or Red Dragon... Go near the corpse of it and then SAVE the game.., then click on the Red Dragon... if you dont get what you want... RELOAD... and click again... do that several times you will get your artifact...

Or you could kill one of the bazillion other dragons and titans in the game. But I guess that's not clever enough...

I myself dont make reloads.., actually never in need of it. Because i always slay all the Dragons & Titans, eventually get the best items... more then i need...

The problem with Kriegspire, Paradise Valley and Dragonsands having no peasants walking the streets is that if the NPCs in houses don't give us all the local info between them - and chances are that too many of them will duplicate what others have already said - we'd have to wait for the 6/8-monthly area reset before anybody says anything different. So if we want to collect all the remarks then we are more-or-less forced to reload-spam.

I must admit to doing this in the Kriegspire village before realising how many NPCs live upstairs at the supposedly-abandoned castle.

Now fighting terminator bots, turn-based mode, by quick-saving whenever a shot from one doesn't eradicate anybody, and reloading whenever a shot does, would be bad cheating in my book.

Between those two extremes, let each player choose where to draw the line.
