Topic Title:
The help in game states they increase the amount of spell points (different rates for different classes), but my experience has been that they don't really increase the spell points nearly as well as straight + spell point gear. The increase is weak enough that I would think itemizing for AC/HP/Resistances would clearly be superior than +int/personality gear.
Am I mistaken, or are there hidden effects I'm not aware of, such as higher int causing higher rolls, etc?
Outside of the obvious stat requirements for mastery of skills.
