When I start a new game of TCC, my party starts in Sutter's Bay. The official walkthrough says something about Ka'tan and that you're given the opportunity to choose a difficulty.
I'm aware that this walkthrough is quite old. Has the game start changed meanwhile, or am I playing a different version of TCC (I tried repack and redone ultimate)?

It's not that I have a difficulty playing. My party goes to Ellasia and moves on from there. It could also travel to Ka'tan, I suppose. I'm simply curious about the difference between the walkthrough and my playing experience.
