Just out of curiosity, what are the areas you can get lost in if you don't have the navigator skill? I tried the desert in E4, but I could traverse it normally even if no one in my party had the skill.

I think the skill just means, that it takes less time to traverse a square in the desert. If you do not have it one square in the desert takes 1 hour, while a square on the road takes 1 minute.
I checked, but it takes 10 mins outside whether you have skill or not.

Just to be clear, by "desert" you mean the one in E4 and F4? That's the only one I found so far...

In MM2 you could get lost in a few places without this skill. Maybe it was supposed to function this way, but because of a bug or by design was left out of the final version of the game?
Yes, I meant the one in E4 and F4.

Yet it may be that I confused the function of the skill with the one in Might & Magic 4.

Or maybe it really is another unfinished design, like the Brothers Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta... Quest (at least in the original disk version their quest could not be finished)
No, I finished the brothers quest.

As I said, the quest was bugged in the original disk version, it was fixed in the cd version and all subsequent versions.
I remember that clearly - brother Delta told me to visit brother Zeta [Epsilon did not exist, his name was asked as a puzzle "name the missing brother" in a dungeon], brother Zeta reacted only with "leave me in peace" like he had not been told to expect me.

Sorry I was tired. I had to cheat to know about using the Greek alphabet, ..also on the insane math puzzle. That's the only part I don't care for in RPG's. Puzzle's only the makers understood.
