I used WhereAreWe in MM1 without problems but in MM2 there is a kind of "fog of war", as soon as I leave a space it is veiled, hiding all information (stairs, traps, inn, portal...)

Does it happen to you too?

Somewhere in the options is a setting to "Use in-game map data" or some such. Turn that off or it will keep blanking out your WAW maps as they get unloaded from memory by the game.
