Aight, I'll get straight to the point. So, every time a semi-important message pops up, it flashes then moves on to the next message. For example, when my characters either inflict damage or get damage inflicted upon them, the message flashes so fast, you can tell it said something, but it flashes too fast to read anything. There have been fixes for this kind of this in other dos games i've played where you adjust a number in the configuration file, but I haven't seen one for this game. Thank in advance y'all!
