I did the 'Long Live The Queen' up until scenario 3, and I'm having problems building my army and getting resources ect. (The dwellings you have to fight for are scaling up to my armies, so I don't know what to do.) before the two armies attack me. I did get a decent army of soldiers up to level four(Crusaders, they were upgraded) and explored, but then the armies rush me and take over one castle, then it's pretty much over from that, because it hinders my resources and I have to do a castle siege with horribly low amounts of soldiers.

Any tactics on how to complete it?

If it seems like your enemies are scaling up, you might be waiting too long. You should try and be the first one to break the wall of creatures surrounding your towns. I don't wait more than two weeks before breaking out, then attacking enemy heroes. It uses up their monsters, and if you play it right, it won't use yours up as quickly.

Also, there is a separate Heroes forum. You will probably find more and better comments there: http://www.gog.com/en/forum/heroes_of_might_and_magic_series/#1338833644
What he said. This forum is for the RPG series, the turn-based strategies with the Heroes name have a seperate forum as linked above.
