Hey there my sister and I recently installed GameRanger so we could play HOMM2 multiplayer (direct connect wasn't working). The problem is GameRanger doesn't see HOMM2 on my computer and when I to browse for it it doesn't recognize it. Have any of you guys been able to play HOMM2 on GameRanger? Is there some kind of trick to get direct connect to work?

Yeah, this forum is for the rpg series. Just to chime in real quick though, I don't think you can play the game on Game Ranger, I have tried too, but I don't think it is possible. It is too bad, as I wanted to play with my brother in college, but we just drowned our sorrows in HoMM 3. ;)
