I am still having trouble with the Temple of Baa and the "NEWS" door. I secured the area and decided to try clicking on the door in the correct order. All I got was a click. Nothing opened. I don't know if this a glitch regarding my game file or what, or if it is something I am doing wrong. This time it is on a different computer, but still with the GOG MM6 download. I took care of the skeletons, spiders and mages in the four openings to the side of the main room. Then I went for the first key. What am I doing wrong?! Please forgive me, but I am really desperate in getting through this quest.

Also, my reputation is bad. I haven't killed any peasants, and I have fulfilled some of the other quests. What's going on and what do I need to do to improve my reputation?

The "clicks" on the doors-- Is that the Ironfist Temple of Baa?

As for reputation. If you do the Baa's letter and candelabra quests, I think you loose rep. But it is way early and future quests will easily lift you to Saintly. That rep is what you need for a Master in Light Magic. You can donate to the Temple (not Baa's) to get a bump up. If I remember correctly you get two benefits from a good rep: the NPC will talk to you more easily and the Master of Light. That's about it. (BYW, if you get to Angelic and want to get Master of Light. Hire a bard for a brief period. They will elevate you one level.)

Yes, the Castle Ironfist Temple of Baa. This has been going on for a while now. I've tried different ways of getting into the main room.

I've done a few of the quests already plus the ones at the beginning. Still a bad reputation. I have about 215 fame though.

I'm also curious as to how editors work if anyone can give some tips. I'm mainly looking for a way to get blasters and artifacts since I almost beat the game once before. Lost my progress to a problem on my other computer.

Sorry meant the NEWS doors.

The only thing I can think of is leaving the Temple and coming back in to see if the Doors reset when the map reloads.

Have you opened all of the doors in the rooms to the side? I seem to recall you may have to open those before you can open the central ones, but I'm not sure if that's correct.

Then, make sure you press all 4 doors in the correct order. If you do one wrong, and get hit by the trap, the sequence resets and you have to start on the first door again.

Also, don't want to add too much detail or spoilers, but save the game before you open these doors :P.
