I'll run the game and I get to the main menu and the game blinks between a white screen and the actual game every second or so... I click "New Game" and it continues blinking... Help?

Do you have 2 GPU's? I do know that Might and Magic VI-VIII will flash just as you described when running the games with 2 graphics cards.

Assuming that you are talking about one of these games (tip: provide more information about your problems in the future as that would make it easier for others to help you.) then you can try out my tip below, assuming of course that you have 2 graphics cards.

If you are using nvidia cards, simply disable SLI, or if you have amd cards, then disable crossfirex.

Following Daerandin's advice, you should realize that some graphics cards are actually two GPUs in a single card, and you may have to disable one of the GPUs to play the games. Post back with the model of graphics card you have and that will help us figure out if this is the issue.
