So I have a new (to me) laptop. When I try playing Might and Magic VI full screen there are bars on the side. I don't care about the bars. The problem is that the screen is cropped. I'd say about 5% on all sides. The most annoying aspect of it is that whenever there is dialogue the first few letters of the first word of each line is usually missing.

Is there anyway to solve this without playing in a microscopic windowed screen?

My details:

Windows 7 64 Bit
NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M
Updated Drives (Ver. 301.42)

*I should add I have my laptop attached to a Samsung monitor via HDMI. The game runs fine when playing on just my normal laptop screen*

Look all day, find no answer, give up, and post on Gog. Less than a half hour later, I finally find the solution!

Here it is:

1. On the Samsung monitor go into menu.
2. Go to the "input" option.
3. Then choose "edit name" sub option.
4. Choose HDMI.
5. Pick the name "PC" in the drop down menu.
6. It should now read HDMI in the left column and PC in the right column.

The game should be enclosed properly in full screen mode. Yay!

Wow, that's great to hear! And wow, it's been a few years since I had that problem. How time flies! And I actually just stopped using that laptop a couple of months ago. Fascinating.
