Okay. long story short, here's the thing.

My 1st language is not English, sorry for my grammar mistakes, therefore I go to my 1st language forum sometimes.

There's a Might and Magic forum, and there's a person who bought Might and Magic 7 and 9 from Ubisoft shop.

However, he/she says he/she can't even play MM7 cuz it's keep saying 'connecting' and not working. He/she even deleted the game and re-installed but the launcher is keep loading.

Furthermore, he/she says MM9 has too many glitches, like characters' faces become weird or the game suddenly shuts off, so he/she can't play.

He/she only wants to play the game, not a refund. Is there any solutions?

The forum is dead, there's like only 2 people coming and I don't use Ubisoft shop, I don't have MM7, 9. I've bought MM 1-6 from gog.com, so I can't help him/her.

Anyone knows how to solve this?

I'd almost guarantee if it is saying connecting that is a phone home for UBISOFT security. The issue is then validating the game before allowing to play. That is probably not something that can be solved here as it is most likely an UBISOFT issue with their software and not actually with the game.

There are a number of unofficial patches for might and magic 9 that you can find here. I don't know how they will interact though with the UBISOFT DRM.
I'm not saying you should just make em pirate a copy of the game, but its definitely easier than getting ubisoft to fix shit lmao
