I know this might sound silly, but are there any alternative icons for the MM 1-5 games? Because the default ones (MM6 icon in with some odd color changes) look extremely awful.

Provided by GOG? Nope. But icons are easy to create - i.e. I didn't like originals as well, so I made my own. I can send you these files or you can try making your own. It's 10min work :)

You could always use the high-res box art as an icon, too.
