so i recently got shadow of war and i wanted to play again after years, but for some weird reason the online conquest isn't working and shows hydra error, and WBplay doesn't show up, i have searched up many ways to how to fix it but to no avail any ideas ?

Shadow of War's online does not work with GOG version. It has been disabled. It is actually listed in the system requirements in the store page if you scroll down there is a small text.

any idea if they are going to add it, i have finished the story many times when i had it on my ps4 and now i mostly want to play the game for the multiplayer

Probably not. I think they Warner Bros broke the online aspect of the game when they removed Denuvo.

If I bought the steam version of the game, could I transfer my GOG savegame so I didn't have to start from scratch?

Don't really know as I don't have the steam version. You can try it for yourself and refund the game on steam if it doesn't work.
