The game is more interesting than I have thought.
The triangulation mapping is really fun, once you get the hang out of it.
Exploring feels really nice.
The scattered notes in the huts and the possibility to save there make exploration fun and somewhat intense.

I was hoping for more crafting, cooking and hunting but it's okay, the main character has the plague which makes him quite dumb and weak and unable to walk straight or swim so it's a miracle he can use the microscope and synthesise the antidote.

I was eaten by the stupid kitty just once, was wondering what the heartbeat was all about, but then it was already too late. I hate cats anyway...

So you should really give it a try when it's on sale, you might be as positively suprised as me.
