I just downloaded and installed the game, and upon launching first got a 640x480 white window, then a black screen. There was no other way to end it but rebooting my computer. Is this the result of the new patch? I am on a Win 7 Home Premium.

Also, is there a way to turn on the windowed mode for this game?

Definitely hoping for a reply this time. Thanks in advance

As I've discovered no settings file, and things like vsync are stored in C:\Users\<yourname>AppData\Roaming\IonFx\Miasmata\saves.dat , I suggest you remove every file from C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Roaming\IonFx\Miasmata
