I just started a new M2033 game, and none of my keyboard keys work. During the very first sequence when you are told to "look around", instead of "W, A, S, D" I am shown "N/D, N/D, N/D, N/D". What does this mean? Even the ESC key doesn't work. I had to Alt+Tab and kill the program to exit.

EDIT I restarted and looked at the keybinding options and nothing was mapped, so I just had to re-map everything. Odd that a fresh install wouldn't have keybindings, but it works now.

Is there a "Reset to Defaults" command? When I started M2033 for the first time, I saw a "Press Start Button" option even though I was using a keyboard. I just pressed Enter instead, and all the bindings were set for a keyboard.
There is on the options screen, yes. Maybe I just clicked through that prompt and didn't pay attention.

darkroastbeans:
Were you able to set M2033 back to keyboard mode?
I had a similar issue when I started playing Metro 2033 Redux. I installed it from GOG Galaxy rather than download the installer. Not sure if that would make a difference. Certain keys were mapped wrong or not mapped at all. Some examples:

- Weapon slot 3 was unbound. Pressing "2" brought up the weapon in slot 1 and pressing "3" brought up the weapon in slot 2.
- When picking-up the Notes scattered throughout the game, the prompt to read them would just say "N/D" (not defined).
- The button to look at Artyom's watch was unbound.

I was able to reset the key bindings to their defaults and that resolved the issue.

I had previously played the original Metro 2033 on Steam, but uninstalled it long before I installed 2033 Redux from GOG. I wonder if that had something to do with it.
