So I had never played 2033, mainly because I heard that it does not have save slots. Is there a mod for Redux to give it save slots? I really can't understand why you would make a PC game, especially a FPS, without saves.

Haven't played Metro 2033 for quite a while nor researched the net to see if such a mod is available (Or even rememebr if Metro 2033 even has save slots but if game doesn't I'd vote for such a mod...

(For those that prefer no save slots, or auto save slots just don't use them if available.)

Really sucks to for example due to a real lie issue not be able to save the game / have to start a section over again.

It does not have save slots but I does have savepoint moments in the game. Lots of.

You don't have to do sections over and over again when you die.

Not really for the OP, but here's some options for anyone looking for such a mod.

For any Game with Autosaves, you can always make manual backups of the saves.
Metro, also keeps each chapter's starting saves as well.

Though it's not a Mod, there's this free tool, which is very versatile.

I wouldn't be surprised if other alternatives exist, I recall deeing paid ones, when I found this one.
I just ended up doing manual backups, when I need to, and haven't needed them.
