I bought gold edition too ,and the game page said I should " click there " if I wanted to have enhanced Edition installed . For some days now , some of my GOG Galacy 2.0 pages do not get loaded ,for example , if a game patch gets downloaded , the " downloads " tab does not appear . This caused a cetain game of mine to fail to launch , as another game 's patch was being installed and ,as usual for the last days , the " downloads " tab did not appear . Some times it works ,though . If I want to see if something is downloaded , I have to select some game and try to download the synced game back up saves , mouse over the downloads line ON TOP of the GALAXY page and then click on " go to downloads " so it takes me to the " downloads " bar and see if anything is downloaded .
This problem aside , I followed the instructions on " click here " tab on gog 's exodus gold edition page in order to be told how to download the enhanced edition ,and the tab JUST DID NOT APPEAR . I found how to download the enhanced edition by googling it on Chrome and followed the instructions . I 'm right now downloading the game , and I can 't tell if it 's the standard or Enhanced Edition yet . Some users who had a problem said they used the offline backup installers to download the enhanced Edition , but on the game 's extra tab there are 19 files for it : " Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition (1/19) , Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition (2/19) up to "... (19/19) ... Some page said I could download the game without the Galaxy downloader , but on the relative download page it showed 18 (I emphasise on " 18 ",and not " 19 " , this NOT a typo) out of 18 offline backup files for the non - enhanced version and 19 filed for the enhanced one . In GOG Galaxy 2.0 it doesn 't show ANY offline backup installer file for the non - enhanced Edition , but it DOES show the 19 files for the enhanced Edtion . I doubt I should manually install 19 files for the enhanced Edition , so maybe ,at this time , (March 24th , 2022) they are automatically detected ?
I 'm afraid to use the customer service support as it takes them FOREVER to respond AND they give me a hard time , so I 'm trying to avoid this . The game has not yet been downloded as of the the moment I 'm typing this post ,so I can 't know what is going on .
EDIT : I can see and change the ray tracing options as is expected from the enhanced edition (I got a message that the game detected my hardware and adjusted video options accordingly) and my GPU supports Ray Tracing , I don 't knoe if that 's because I followed the instructions here :
