I'm thinking of buying the game and I'm wondering if player movement is strictly WASD or if it can be remapped. I insist on RMB for forward movement in all my games and if I can't do that I'll have to pass on buying. Also, does the game have auto reload or auto pickup? I like playing with as few keyboard keys as possible.

Yes you can remap WASD to any other keys. I have remapped them to arrows keys. Also, game auto reloads when you empty your magazines. But auto pickup is not available. Some Settings option if you are curious
