Just for people who didn't notice, it's possible to avoid suffocating when out of filter cartridges or even without gas mask, by simply pressing the replace filter key (defaults to T) when suffocation begins. Once done, things seems happen like an infinite filter cartridge is equipped.

It's fairly easy to discover this by mistake, so I'm suspecting it may have been implemented on purpose, for people who like taking their time, lol...

Thanks, such a tip comes in handy especially playing (Or should I say trying to play) on a system with a weak video card. :-(

I noticed something else. Had lots of times that I runned out of filters of that the gasmask brokes.

T didtn work for me then. But when you look arround quickly, before you die, there is always a filter or a gasmask somewhere around you :-D
