I installed the Enhanced Edition the other day, and played through the opening levels. Everything was working fine until today, when suddenly all of the extra graphics settings vanished, meaning no extra DLSS options other than on/off (which won’t even stay on!), no extra Ray Tracing options, no VRS, and no FOV Slider. Can someone explain what happened here? It’s like the game somehow reverted back to the original version, which shouldn’t be possible. I installed the Enhanced Edition with the offline installers. If it helps, I’ve had the original version installed before, so is it possible there’s a config file from the original version that never got deleted, and it has somehow overwritten the Enhanced Edition options? I’m at a complete loss.

Did you ever resolve this? I apparently have the same problem. Just a check box for DLSS, no Quality/Performance/Balanced options.

Figured out the problem. You have to activate the beta channel on Galaxy or if you don't use Galaxy, download the files separately.

What an absolute farce. "Galaxy" and the way it handles game downloads is awful.

WTF has happened to GOG?

I'm trying to access the enhanced edition of Metro. I downloaded 90gigs for the game. Then realized this, and it tried to download 100+ gigs again.
