mrwoom: I have been playing Metro LL through steam big picture mode with an xbox USB controller. Works fine except there is terrible drift on the L analogue stick. Are there any fixes out there yet? I've tried turning steam controller support off and changing dead zone settings through the steam big picture controller config but nothing has worked.
Volneilo: Sorry for posting on such an old topic but I'm experiencing the same problem in the same L stick. No drift detected in gamepad testing sites and programs. No drift present while playig other games.
A couple of questions:
1. What EXACT controller model do you have?
2. Do you have any other controllers or ANY input devices connected at the same time ( eg mouse, macropad, etc )
3. Which system is this on? Windows? Which exact version?
4. How old ( in terms of USAGE ) is this controller ?
5. Are you using any controller wrapper software ?
6. Is Steam Input enabled for this game, in your config ?
If you'd happen to have Dualshock / Dualsense, the Sixaxis function is sometimes wrongfully detected by some games as another joystick, thus affecting the input.
Any other input devices connected may sometimes also cause that.
Basically what I'm saying is, your controller may be totally fine, but the issue might be on a software side.
However I cannot say for sure without having a direct access to that computer.
You could answer my questions, for me to be able to have SOME idea whether this might be the case or not.
