They are on sale!

Any reason to get both? Is Last Light a direct sequel to 2033? Or is it more of a same game+ version of 2033?

Both and play 2033 first, these game are heavily story oriented and scripted so playing only Last Light is only a half the experience.
If you only buy one get 2033 which can stand on its own and I hope I won't spoil anything by saying that I wished it did. :^(

Get both or get 2033 now and when you finish it you'll just end up getting Last Light on the next sale or at full price...

I recommend picking both up, I'm kicking myself for buying these on Steam a while back in a sale, GOG is the way to go.

I guess you already bought them by now. If not yet, buy them both.
