Has anybody figured out how to use an Xinput controller? Like a standard Xbox controller for example. The game doesn't seem to recognize it, can't change the controls settings.

Look up 'Metal Gear Solid 1 Integral PC' on reddit,

it contains a rebuild of the game with DX10 support, along with support for xinput devices.

I used an xinput controller and it seems to work. You can't use both triggers at the same time but I was able to use them to switch weapons and items.

How did you get it to work? Just plug and play? Not working for me at all.

I used an Xbox One controller just fine, though i needed to remap all the controls to match the PS1 version.

I'm also using an Xbox One controller, but I can't really remap anything and triggers do nothing for me :(
