Note like always, since this is a fan patch, this is a "At your own risk", I can't condone fully installing things willy nilly but if you're interested here's the link to the the fan Patch Post on reddit: Link isn't the correct one

Are you sure this is just a patch? The file size and link look like its a download link for the full game as well. I just wanna patch the GoG version.

Do you know whats funny, this fan "patch" has full support for 1080p, widescreen, and xbox controllers. While the version they sell here is a 1:1 conversion of the broken game

Most likely Konami didn't get in touch with the people behind the patch, like how Bloodlines comes with Wesp5's patch

Probably need permission from the patch creator as well as Konami to implement the patch here.

Can someone from GOG's staff delete this since we can't delete our own fourm post, I don't wan to mislead people to thinking there's a patch when there isn't

For those trying to patch the GOG version with the .exe included in this post, it will work the same as if you had the retail CD. You'll see the patch author wrote "Retail CD owners, can Install using original game CD, Download this package and install in same directory." Download the package and run the .exe file, point the installer to your GOG install path. This should work to patch the game.

When i tried this the game strats in a mini window in the top left with green and pink colors only.

Well that's odd! Try poking around in the graphics settings, maybe the rendering setting?

Has anyone got this working? I'd love a How to on this one. I want the game but' really need to know if this works. Thanks

Let me see if i get this right

First i install the GOG MGS and then i run the downloaded exe and select the downloaded exe to install in the gog folder?
