Hey everyone. If possible I'd like to gain depth buffer access for Metal Gear Solid. I've tried using dgVoodoo2, but the game crashes. I tried Ultimate ASI injector, used input8.dll both as-is and renamed as ddraw.dll, and placed the reshade file into the 'scripts' / 'plugins' folder as both .dll and .asi--and it doesn't seem to be working so not sure if I've set it up correctly. Also, both were x86 not x64. The only thing I can get ReShade to work with is DXGL which runs the game as OpenGL. It seems there is some buffer access. I get the Purplish / White split screen, and there are two buffers to select, one being FBO. But no matter what I do, I can't get access to the depth buffer.
If someone can fiddle with it, or if someone already has a solution I'd greatly appreciate it. Same for MGS2 btw. The depth buffer eludes me at the moment, but that's an optional request. Definitely more interested in MGS. Thanks.
